How times fly. Today marks the 2,500th day since we first met. We decided to mark this day by kick-starting our healthy regime. Thus, we took a morning hike along the
Southern Ridges, a 9km chain of hills stretching from Kent Ridge Park through Telok Blangah Hill Park and Mount Faber Park. Of course, we did not start from one end to the other. We decided that we will start from the newly constructed Alexandra Arch and walk in the direction of Harbourfront so we will also cross the Henderson Waves, another pedestrian bridge made from natural materials. We liked the Henderson Waves better than the Alexandra Arch because the breeze was cooler when we were up there.
After trekking approximately 4.7km, we reached the foot of Mount Faber and made our way across the street to Vivocity, thereby completing the 5km walk. The original idea was to complete 2.5km to signify the 2500 days since we met. However, since we are in this together, I guess it means that we both completed 2.5km each and accompanied the other on their 2.5km lap!
We finally caught a movie at the cinema. Something we have not been doing on a regular basis, no thanks to the rising cost of movie tickets and our busy schedule while we plan for our dream wedding. The show was "
What happens in Vegas" starring Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher.
Next day, we drove in Formula One!
